The PPC Engineer will be responsible for effective production planning, scheduling, and control to ensure timely manufacturing and delivery of products. The role involves coordinating with production, purchase, stores, and quality teams to optimize resources, reduce delays, and improve overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute
production plans
as per sales orders and forecasts
Monitor
daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules
Coordinate with
production, purchase, stores, and dispatch departments
Ensure
availability of raw materials, components, and consumables
Track
work-in-progress (WIP)
and finished goods inventory
Analyze production capacity and machine utilization
Identify bottlenecks and suggest corrective actions
Maintain
production reports, MIS, and planning data
Follow up on delayed orders and prioritize urgent requirements
Support continuous improvement in productivity and delivery performance
Ensure adherence to
quality standards and safety norms

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of
Production Planning & Control (PPC)
Experience in
manufacturing industry
(machinery/fabrication preferred)
Proficiency in
MS Excel, ERP/MRP systems
Good coordination and communication skills
Ability to analyze data and solve production-related issues
Time management and multitasking abilities

Educational Qualification

BE / BTech / Diploma
in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering

Experience

Minimum
2 years of relevant experience
as a PPC Engineer or Production Planner

Preferred Experience

Exposure to
heavy engineering, biomass machinery, or fabrication industry
Experience working with
ERP systems
