Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Power System Engineer at Solvina in Noida. The Power System Engineer will be responsible for conducting Power System Studies, working on Power Systems, utilizing Electrical Engineering skills, and optimizing Power Generation. The role involves hands-on experience with Electric Power systems.

We are looking for candidates having at least B. Tech/ Master's/M Tech or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Systems with 0- 10years of experience only.

Qualifications

• Power System Studies and Power Systems knowledge
• Expertise in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in Power Generation
• Strong understanding of Electric Power systems
• Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electrical/Power systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of renewable energy systems is a plus

The candidate should have following mandatory skills:

1. B.Tech/M Tech in Power system

2.Sound knowledge of theories of power system – Load flow, Frequency and Voltage stability, Electrical machines, etc.

3. Basic knowledge of control theory.

4. Should be conversant in software skills in tools like – Matlab, PSSE, PSCAD,ETAP, MS Office etc.

The job description is as followed:

1. Work with projects into testing performance of synchronous generators in various thermal, hydro, gas, solar and wind based power plants within India and abroad.

2. Work with modeling of plant network in power system simulation software and performing various static and dynamic simulation studies as per project requirements.

3. Develop reports and presentations of the work carried out during testing and simulations.

4.Power system studies which includes, load flow, protection coordination, short circuit and dynamic studies, motor starting, harmonics studies, AVR & PSS studies etc.

=> Business Development, Coordination with site/client, manage the testing procedure at site and internal coordination with team about the task given and work progress.

In short, the profile is a mix of technical and managerial role.
