Candidates must have significant on-site and field experience in:
Substation & Plant Commissioning: Proven experience in commissioning substations/switchyards, and renewable plants (solar/wind) or captive generators.
Energy Storage & Conversion: Hands-on service experience commissioning Li-ion batteries, BESS, on-grid inverters, UPS, and Power Conversion Systems (PCS).
Control Systems: Experience with the commissioning of SCADA/DCS for power plants and familiarity with I&C for plant power distribution networks.
Field/OEM Support: Prior experience as a field technical support representative, ideally from an OEM environment.
Core Electrical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of transformers, metering devices, relays, and electrical panels.
Troubleshooting: Expert troubleshooting skills for one or more of the following: solar inverters, PCS, industrial UPS, drives, BESS, and transformer systems.
Technical Acumen: Clarity in electrical power system calculations (including manual calculations) and experience with component-level testing processes.
Reporting: Proficiency in generating daily/weekly reports using MS Excel or similar tools.
Nice to have: Experience in component level manufacturing or working knowledge of EPLAN.
