Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Power System Engineer at VIT, located in Vellore. The Power System Engineer will be responsible for conducting power system studies, analyzing and improving the performance of power systems, and designing solutions for power generation and distribution. Additional responsibilities include overseeing research projects, collaborating with students, and implementing innovative engineering solutions in the field of electric power systems. The role demands a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and practical problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Power Systems and conducting Power System Studies
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Power Generation
• Understanding of Electric Power systems and their practical applications
• Experience with research and application of engineering solutions in the field of power systems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Master's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Previous teaching or academic experience is an advantage
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
