Power Portal Developer

Job Summary:

As a Power BI Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions to help our organization make data-driven decisions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, design effective data visualizations, and create interactive dashboards and reports. Your expertise in data modeling, data integration, and advanced analytics will contribute to the success of our business intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.

Design and develop data models, data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

Create interactive and visually appealing data visualizations that provide actionable insights to end-users.

Implement data integration and transformation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Optimize and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards for improved performance and usability.

Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive business decision-making.

Collaborate with the IT team to ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met.

Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of Power BI architecture, data modelling, and DAX.

Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

Experience in designing and developing interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, and relational databases.

Familiarity with data integration technologies (e.g., ETL tools, APIs, web services) and data visualization best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions within agreed-upon timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with advanced analytics and data science techniques (e.g., machine learning, predictive modelling) within Power BI.

Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and the ability to leverage Azure data storage, processing, and analytics tools with Power BI.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
