Power BI Lead

As a Power BI Lead at Visteon Corporation, your primary responsibility will be to manage and administer the Power BI service. This includes overseeing user access, configuring settings, managing workspaces, and ensuring data security and compliance. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the Power BI environment. Your key responsibilities will include queue management for all incoming Power BI requests, providing technical support to users, conducting Power BI trainings, configuring and optimizing gateways, datasets, reports, and dashboards. You will monitor compliance with data governance standards, implement security policies, monitor system performance, provision resources, and collaborate with other teams to ensure the system runs smoothly. Additionally, you will develop and maintain documentation related to Power BI administration, collaborate with stakeholders to integrate data from various sources, and continuously improve the efficiency of the Power BI environment. You should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with international clients and articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. As a Power BI Lead, you will manage and administer the Power BI service, configure data gateways, maintain secure data connections, and utilize GitHub for dashboard deployments. You will also enforce data security policies, collaborate with IT and business teams for data integration and reporting needs, provide training to end users, and stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices. To qualify for this role, you should have extensive experience in Power BI administration and management, a strong understanding of data security and compliance best practices, proficiency in using the Power BI REST API for administrative tasks, experience with data gateways and secure data connections, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Power BI or other BI tools would be considered a plus.,
