Job Description

Experienced Power BI Lead with 8 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics. The role involves designing, developing, and architecting scalable BI solutions using Power BI and Microsoft s data ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical depth, a strong understanding of data modeling and visualization best practices, and the ability to lead teams and engage with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights

Design Architecture

Architect enterprise-grade BI solutions using Power BI and Azure Data services. Define best practices for data modelling, DAX, Power Query (M), and report optimization. Implement governance, security models (RLS/OLS), and workspace management.

Development Delivery

Develop interactive dashboards and reports aligned with business KPIs. Work with data engineering teams to design semantic models and reusable datasets. Ensure scalability, performance, and usability of BI solutions.

Integration Platforms

Integrate Power BI with Azure Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, SQL Server, SAP, and other enterprise systems. Work on deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and automation for Power BI.

Leadership Collaboration

Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and leadership teams to gather requirements and translate into BI solutions.

Innovation Growth

Stay updated with Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, and emerging BI/AI trends. Contribute to pre-sales, proposals, and client workshops as a BI subject matter expert.

Additional Skills:

8 10 years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics. 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in Power BI (dashboarding, DAX, M/Power Query). Expertise in data modeling (star schema, snowflake, dimensional modeling).

Experience with large dataset optimization and performance tuning.
Strong exposure to Azure Data ecosystem (Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric). Knowledge of SQL Server, relational databases, and ETL workflows. Experience in governing enterprise-scale BI implementations. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills (CXO level interactions). Proven experience in leading teams and managing BI projects.
