Job Description

The Post Legal team is responsible for handling end-to-end documentation, registration, compliance, and coordination activities related to real estate projects. The role involves preparing legal drafts, ensuring process compliance, managing customer documentation, and liaising with internal teams and external authorities. Senior roles will additionally oversee team operations, ensure quality control, and support strategic legal initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Documentation & Drafting

  • Prepare and review flat agreements, addendums, and other real estaterelated legal drafts.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all customer-facing and regulatory documents.
  • Manage registration documentation and maintain proper legal records.

Compliance & Verification

  • Conduct due diligence and verify legal documents related to projects and customers.
  • Support society formation processes, RERA compliance, and other statutory activities.
  • Handle revenue documents, approvals, and relevant liaison work with authorities.

Coordination & Process Management

  • Coordinate with Sales, CRM, Finance, Projects, and other internal teams for smooth documentation flow.
  • Liaise with banking partners for APF processes, sanctioning, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage document scanning, filing, tracking, and back-office legal operations.

Client & External Liaison

  • Interact with clients, banks, and government departments for documentation, registrations, and approvals.
  • Ensure timely closure of all post-booking and post-registration legal formalities.

Team Leadership (for Senior Positions)

  • Lead, guide, and mentor the Post Legal executive team to ensure accuracy and process adherence.
  • Monitor workflow, resolve escalations, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Contribute to process improvement, policy formulation, and strategic legal planning.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Law graduate from a reputed college/university.

  • 1 to 10 years of experience

    , preferably in the real estate sector (mandatory for mid to senior roles).
  • Strong knowledge of real estate documentation, registrations, RERA, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Dynamic, assertive, and capable of handling multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently; leadership experience required for senior-level roles.

Salary

As per market standards and based on experience level.
