Job Title: Pool Operator

Department: Facility Maintenance / Recreation Services

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor

Skills & Competencies

1. Strong knowledge of pool chemistry, water treatment, and filtration systems

2. Mechanical aptitude for operating and maintaining pool equipment

3. High attention to detail to ensure compliance and cleanliness

4. Effective problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

5. Good communication skills for coordination and reporting

6. Strong safety awareness in all pool operations and maintenance tasks

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and maintain proper pool water quality, chemical balance, and sanitation standards

2. Operate, inspect, and maintain pool filtration systems, pumps, and related equipment

3. Conduct routine inspections of the pool area to identify and address maintenance needs

4. Ensure daily operations comply with safety codes, health regulations, and company standards

5. Maintain accurate maintenance records, chemical logs, and inspection documentation

6. Respond promptly to pool-related issues, breakdowns, and emergencies

7. Coordinate tasks with facility maintenance teams, lifeguards, and management to ensure smooth operations
