Policy Enforcement Manager, Shopping

Role Overview: In this role, you will be dedicated to ensuring that YouTube is a place for users, viewers, and creators worldwide to express themselves freely. You will play a crucial part in understanding and addressing online content concerns, navigating global legal frameworks, and enforcing worldwide policy to enhance the YouTube experience, promote internet safety, and uphold free speech in the dynamic digital landscape. Key Responsibilities: - Lead enforcement and operations management for YouTube Shopping, including setting up and optimizing vendor workflows, defining clear processes, and operational guidelines to enhance efficiency. - Conceptualize, design, and execute projects aimed at significant workflow and process enhancements. - Review graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in alignment with YouTube's community guidelines. - Develop and implement performance metrics, analyze operational data for insights, and proactively address gaps to drive process efficiency improvements and automation. - Handle escalations with quick turn-around time, define optimal plans, and provide timely updates to executives. - Collaborate with product, business analysts, vendor operations, and engineering teams to solve complex problems and drive innovations. Identify automation and efficiency opportunities using data-driven strategies proactively. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields. - Master's degree in a related technical field preferred. - Experience in operations including Shopping/e-commerce, workflow optimization, process design, or management consulting. - Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, define successful approaches, and proactively solve problems across cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in working with large datasets, querying multiple data sources, and performing analyses to track performance metrics and drive operational improvements. - Excellent organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.,
