Job Summary:

The Policy Administration Specialist is responsible for performing end-to-end policy servicing and administrative activities for Life and Annuity insurance policies. This role ensures timely and accurate processing in accordance with client standards, service level agreements (SLAs), and compliance regulations. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities to deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage policy administration and related servicing activities for Life and Annuity Insurance policies
  • Perform routine and recurring processing tasks accurately and efficiently, adhering to defined SLAs and quality standards
  • Develop a sound understanding of assigned work processes and the clients business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Handle confidential company and customer data securely and in accordance with data protection guidelines
  • Identify and escalate critical or high-impact customer service issues promptly to the appropriate team members or management
  • Maintain and update records, reports, and documentation as required for internal tracking and audits
  • Collaborate with team members to meet process goals and continuously improve service efficiency and accuracy

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a night or evening shift environment
  • Basic understanding of policy administration processes and insurance operations preferred
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline preferred
  • 13 years of experience in policy administration, insurance operations, or back-office processing (Life/Annuity experience preferred)
