Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Plumber to join our maintenance team. The role involves the installation, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems (water supply, drainage, sanitation) in residential/commercial buildings in and around Okhla Phase 1. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated, reliable, and able to handle routine and emergency plumbing tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair piping systems, fixtures, valves, fittings and other plumbing equipment for water supply, drainage, waste water and sanitation systems.
• Respond to plumbing service requests and emergencies (e.g., leakages, clogged drains, broken fixtures) and apply prompt and effective solutions.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints or building plans to determine layout of plumbing, location of pipes, and determine materials required.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend and install pipes and tubes, join pipes using couplings and fittings, assemble fixtures and equipment in compliance with regulations and safety standards.
• Inspect plumbing systems and components (pipes, vents, fixtures) to identify defects or malfunctions; test systems for pressure or leaks and carry out corrective action.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance on plumbing systems, clean drains, check valves and keep records of maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain tools and materials inventory, ensure safe working environment, follow all relevant plumbing codes, regulations and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with other trades (e.g., electrical, civil) and contractors when required for installations or major repairs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on plumbing experience (or equivalent) in residential/commercial environment preferred.
• Diploma in Plumbing, Mechanical, Civil, or related trade from a recognised ITI institute is mandatory.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, materials (pipes, fittings), fixtures and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret building drawings/blueprints.
• Physically fit: able to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, lift moderate loads, bend or kneel as needed.
• Basic safety awareness and willingness to follow safety rules and use protective equipment.
