Plc Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PLC Engineer to develop, program, and maintain automation systems to optimize manufacturing and industrial processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration to ensure efficient and reliable operation of automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• PLC Programming:

Designing, developing, and implementing PLC programs using languages like ladder logic, sequential function charts, etc.

• System Design:

Creating control architectures and schematics for PLC systems.

• Troubleshooting and Maintenance:

Identifying and resolving issues in PLC hardware and software, and performing routine maintenance.

• Integration:

Working with other engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to integrate PLC systems into overall automation projects.

• Testing and Commissioning:

Conducting tests and ensuring proper functionality and integration of PLC systems.

• Documentation:

Creating and maintaining documentation for PLC programs, including logic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and user manuals.

• Collaboration:

Interacting with various teams, including engineering, production, and maintenance, to ensure smooth operation and optimization of automated systems.

• Training and Support:

Providing training and support to technicians and other team members on PLC systems.

• Process Improvement:

Continuously seeking opportunities to improve automation processes and optimize system performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of PLC hardware and software.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, SFC).
• Experience with industrial control systems and automation standards.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and software principles.
• Familiarity with HMI (Human Machine Interface) design and SCADA systems.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
