Platform Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise platforms aligned with business objectives.
  
• Lead the

  platform modernization and transformation initiatives

  with focus on ITSM best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and development teams to define platform architecture standards.
  
• Implement and optimize

  platform governance, automation, and observability frameworks.

• Provide architectural guidance across

  multi-cloud or hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Evaluate and select appropriate tools, technologies, and frameworks for platform enablement.
  
• Define best practices for

  CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and platform reliability engineering.

• Integrate

  ITSM solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Cherwell)

  with platform components for seamless service delivery.
• Ensure

  security, compliance, and scalability

  standards are met across all platform layers.
• Mentor teams in architecture principles, platform engineering, and service delivery excellence.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years

  of hands-on experience in

  Platform Architecture and Engineering.

• Proven expertise in

  ITSM frameworks (ITIL, ServiceNow, BMC, or similar platforms).

• Strong understanding of

  microservices, APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud-native architecture.

• Experience with

  Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

  and automation pipelines.
• Proficiency in

  DevOps tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, etc.).
• Knowledge of

  observability tools

  (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Familiarity with

  data flow design, event-driven systems, and integration architecture.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITIL / TOGAF / AWS Certified Solutions Architect / Azure Architect Expert

  certifications.
• Experience implementing

  ServiceNow or ITSM-based automation platforms.

• Exposure to

  platform security architecture

  and governance models
