Hiring: General Manager – Production / Plant Operations Head

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat
Industry: Piping Spools, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers & Process Equipment

Qualification:-DME / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)

Experience:

• Minimum 18+ years in production management within heavy fabrication / process equipment manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the production department with effective cycle time management.

2. Oversee and optimize overall plant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

3. Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.

4. Develop and execute short- and long-term production plans.

5. Monitor daily plant operations and ensure adherence to schedules.

6. Implement robust quality control systems.

7. Identify and implement process optimization and cost-saving opportunities.

8. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing production team.

9. Analyze production costs and optimize resource utilization.

10. Coordinate with suppliers for timely material availability.

11. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

12. Demonstrate sound knowledge in:

• Cost estimation and prevailing rates for materials and manufacturing processes
• Pressure vessel fabrication timelines and fabrication codes
• Engineering best practices and drawing interpretation
• Sequencing of fabrication and operations for on-time delivery

13. Lead senior production and planning engineers effectively to achieve company targets.

14. Enhance the company’s market reputation through quality and prompt deliveries.

15. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing stages.

16. Manage contract workforce efficiently while maintaining production rates and quality standards.

17. Maintain excellent housekeeping and ensure a safe, organized, and peaceful work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,534,301.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
