Plant Head – CDW (Cold Drawn Wire)

Position: Plant Head – CDW (Cold Drawn Wire)
Location: Sikandrabad, Uttar Pradesh
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Metallurgy / Production
Experience: 15+ years in Steel Wire / Cold Drawn Wire Industry (with at least 5+ years in a leadership role)
Salary: Up to ₹50 LPA (Negotiable for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end operations of the Cold Drawn Wire (CDW) plant.
• Drive production, quality, safety, and cost efficiency across all units.
• Implement production planning & scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor and control maintenance, utilities, and engineering functions.
• Ensure adherence to ISO, TS, and statutory compliance.
• Drive process improvements for higher productivity and lower rejection rates.
• Lead and mentor plant operations teams, fostering performance culture.
• Manage raw material planning, procurement, and inventory effectively.
• Regularly review KPIs such as OEE, cost per ton, and energy utilization.
• Report directly to senior management on plant performance.

Skills Required:

• Strong leadership and man-management.
• In-depth knowledge of wire drawing, annealing, pickling, and finishing.
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma preferred.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
