Planning Manager

Role & responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, monitor, and control project schedules using planning tools (Primavera/MS

Project).

• Prepare project execution strategies and align milestones with business objectives.

• Track project progress against baseline schedules and highlight variances.

• Identify risks/delays and implement corrective actions proactively.

Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the central coordination point between design, engineering, procurement,

execution, and sales teams.

• Facilitate effective communication between consultants, contractors, and internal

departments.

• Conduct review meetings with stakeholders to monitor project performance.

• Ensure statutory approvals, permits, and compliances are tracked and obtained on

time.

Resource & Cost Management

• Plan manpower, materials, and resources required for timely project completion.

• Monitor budgets, cost deviations, and ensure optimal utilization of resources.

• Support management in tendering, vendor evaluation, and contract finalization.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.

• Maintain project documentation, drawings, contracts, and correspondence.

• Provide periodic updates to senior leadership on project status, challenges, and

solutions.
