Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Site Planner-Coordinator for solar project execution who will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules using Primavera P6, coordinating across various departments, and ensuring timely execution of solar power plant construction activities. The candidate will play a key role in aligning project timelines, reporting progress, and supporting project management teams in delivering projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for solar EPC projects (Ground mounted).
• Prepare baseline schedules and update regularly as per project progress.
• Break down project scope into manageable WBS elements and define activities, durations, dependencies, and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to incorporate realistic timelines.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor project progress against baseline and report slippages, risks, and deviations.
• Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and S-curve charts.
• Prepare resource histograms, man-hour tracking, and productivity reports.
• Interface with contractors and subcontractors to track execution progress at site.

Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, and Quality teams to gather progress inputs.
• Facilitate daily/weekly planning meetings to track activities and mitigate delays.
• Support the preparation of catch-up plans / recovery schedules when required.
