Planning Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the Role:

Planning Engineer

Experience with RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) projects is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of plans with execution
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and project forecasts
• Identify project risks, delays, and propose mitigation strategies
• Track resource usage and ensure efficient allocation aligned with project timelines
• Conduct time impact analysis for variations, delays, and extension of time (EOT) claims
• Attend client and consultant meetings to present planning deliverables and progress reports
• Support in tender planning and bid submissions for future infrastructure projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent; PMP certification is a plus.

• Minimum 15 years of experience

  in planning and scheduling of infrastructure projects
• Proven expertise in

  bridges, underpasses, superstructures

  , and related civil works
• Strong knowledge of

  Primavera P6

  , MS Project, and other planning tools

• RTA experience

  (UAE) is highly preferred
• Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills
