Planning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to lead and manage project planning, scheduling, and monitoring for our ongoing and upcoming construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong civil engineering background, deep understanding of project lifecycle management, and hands-on experience with planning tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of all construction activities
• Monitor project progress, identify delays or risks, and implement mitigation plans
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports to senior management
• Allocate resources efficiently and track productivity
• Support cost control and budgeting teams with planning data
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders for schedule updates and progress validation
• Ensure all planning activities comply with contractual obligations and safety norms

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in Primavera (P6) and/or MS Project
• Deep understanding of construction methods, project execution, and engineering processes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to deadlines and quality

Preferred Experience:

• Large-scale infrastructure, residential, or commercial projects
• Handling multiple project sites or complex phased projects
• Exposure to project costing and estimation (a plus)
