Planning and Control Manager

Role Overview: As the India Planning and Control Manager, you will be responsible for financial and non-financial reporting, collaborating with local and corporate teams, and supporting the Finance Head in daily reporting requirements. Your role will involve enhancing existing information gathering processes, coordinating with various functions for data collection, and implementing improvements in controls and processes. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement - Conduct Variance Analysis - Manage yearly budgeting and monthly forecasting - Oversee MIS reports for local and corporate management teams - Ensure the accuracy of internal financial statements - Manage monthly closing processes - Handle inventory management and reconciliation - Maintain financial reporting integrity - Update financial reporting policies and procedures - Strengthen internal controls - Work on IFRS reporting - Collaborate with internal and external auditors Qualification Required: - Hold a Bachelor's and/or master's degree in accounting or finance - Have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Retail industry - Proficient in using Tally.ERP9 and Zoho - Knowledge of accounting standards, IFRS, tax laws, Oracle, Zoho Books, and Zoho Inventory - Skilled in financial transactions, inventory management, and accounting procedures related to P2P, Expenses, Sales, Accruals, and Fixed Assets - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint - Ability to adapt to changes, work under pressure with minimal supervision, and demonstrate self-motivation and a positive attitude - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Multitasking abilities - Sense of personal responsibility - Capacity to work with deadlines Additional Details: Omit this section as there are no additional details of the company mentioned in the job description.,
