Job Title: Placement Officer Location: Calicut Experience:- 1-2 year experience in Placement Department Company Description Edwin Academy is a Startup_India recognised emerging career solution platform located in Calicut Job Summary The Placement Officer is responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the student placement process, including building relationships with companies, arranging campus recruitment drives, preparing students for interviews, and ensuring high placement rates. The ideal candidate should have strong communication, organizational, and networking skills. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners and potential employers to facilitate job placements. * Organize campus recruitment drives, career fairs, and industry interaction sessions. * Assist students in developing resumes, interview skills, and professional behavior. * Maintain a database of students' academic records and placement status. * Track and report placement statistics and prepare annual placement reports. * Coordinate with academic departments to ensure students are industry-ready. * Arrange internship and training opportunities for students. * Stay updated with industry trends and employment market conditions. * Act as a liaison between the institution and employers to ensure feedback and continual improvement. * Organize guest lectures, workshops, and skill development programs. Qualifications and Experience * Any Bachelor's degree is required *1-2years of experience in placement coordination, career counseling, or corporate relations (experience in educational institutions preferred).
