Job Title: Placement Coordinator
Location: Hazaribagh, Jharkhand

Reports To: Placement Head / Training & Placement Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Placement Coordinator based in Hazaribagh to lead and support the student placement process. The role involves student counselling, employer engagement, local job hunting, document management, and frequent travel for placement activities across India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Engagement & Counselling
• Make regular calls to students to inform and motivate them about job opportunities.
• Provide one-on-one counselling to prepare students for interviews and job readiness.
• Assist in developing resumes, soft skills, and interview techniques.
• Industry & Employer Collaboration
• Build and maintain relationships with local and national employers.
• Arrange company tie-ups, MoUs, and placement drives.
• Coordinate employer visits and recruitment events in Hazaribagh and surrounding areas.
• Local Job Hunting
• Identify job openings in and around Hazaribagh for immediate opportunities.
• Collaborate with local businesses, industries, and employment agencies.
• Travel & Onboarding Support
• Travel with placed students across India to assist with onboarding and relocation.
• Act as a liaison between students and employers during the joining process.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain all placement-related documents including student profiles, offer letters, employer details, and MoUs.
• Generate regular reports on student placements and company interactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (MBA or related fields preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in placement, HR, or student counselling.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office and email handling).
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.
• Familiarity with the Hazaribagh job market is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Prior experience in educational or training institutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
