Job Description: Placement Officer for Cybersecurity and AI & ML Courses · Position Title: Placement Officer · Department: Career Services · Location: Kudlugate, bangalore · Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and motivated Placement Officer to facilitate career opportunities for students enrolled in our Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in career services, a deep understanding of the tech industry, and a passion for helping students achieve their professional goals. Key Responsibilities Career Development Support: · Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students regarding career options, resume building, and interview preparation. · Develop and deliver workshops and seminars focused on job searching strategies, networking, and industry trends. · Employer Engagement: · Establish and maintain relationships with companies in the cybersecurity and AI sectors to create job placement opportunities. · Organize job fairs, recruitment drives, and networking events to connect students with potential employers. · Job Matching: · Assess student skills and interests to effectively match them with job openings. · Collaborate with academic staff to understand curriculum changes and align them with industry needs. Data Management: · Stay informed about developments in the cybersecurity and AI & ML fields to provide relevant guidance to students. · Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance personal effectiveness and industry knowledge. Education: · Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Career Services, Business Administration, or a related field. A background in technology or cybersecurity is a plus. Experience: · Minimum of [1 years] experience in career services, recruitment, or a related field, preferably within the tech sector. · Familiarity with the cybersecurity and AI & ML industries is highly desirable.
