Placement Consultant

Eligibility/ Qualification & Experience

• Post-Graduate degree in Business Management / Public Policy / International Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 3 or more years of experience in international placement facilitation, G2G recruitment, liaison with foreign missions, employers, or ministries.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Government sector.
• Proven understanding of the eMigrate system, international recruitment regulations, and global mobility frameworks.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills with the ability to independently interact with Foreign Employers (FEs), Embassies, and government agencies.

Scope of Work / Key Tasks

• ldentification and initiation of potential direct tie-ups with Foreign Employers (FEs), overseas government agencies, and international organizations for placement of candidates through department.
• Liaison with MEA, Protector of Emigrants (PoE) offices, NSDC International, Embassies, and related authorities for approvals, clearances, and institutional collaborations.
• Preparation of country-specific proposals, MoUs, and agreements for overseas placements.
• Designing a framework for ethical recruitment aligned with MEA guidelines and international standards.
• Organizing outreach programmes, B2B meetings, and employer interaction events to promote department as a credible government Recruiting Agent.
• Coordination with department's Overseas Branch and the Foreign Cooperation
• Department (FCD) for facilitation and followW-up of international projects.
• Submission of periodic progress reports, recommendations, and update to management.
