Description
As a PIM Architect at our client's company, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and optimization of the Product Information Management (PIM) system. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the architecture and strategy of the PIM system to ensure alignment with business requirements and data management needs. - Designing and implementing scalable, flexible, and efficient PIM systems that seamlessly integrate with platforms like eCommerce, ERP, CMS, and external data sources. - Defining data models, taxonomies, workflows, and processes to maintain high-quality, consistent product information. - Overseeing the integration of PIM systems with external platforms to ensure smooth data flow. - Collaborating with business stakeholders to enhance the product data management process. - Providing technical leadership on PIM system configuration, data governance, and quality standards. - Developing and promoting best practices for PIM implementation, governance, and lifecycle management. - Leading the selection and implementation of new PIM technologies for continuous improvement. - Managing and optimizing PIM system performance to meet scalability and data consistency requirements. - Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to define key metrics and reporting systems for product data health. To excel in this role, you need: - 5+ years of experience in PIM architecture, design, and strategy with expertise in platforms like Akeneo, InRiver, or similar systems. - Proven experience in leading PIM system design and implementation aligned with business goals. - Expertise in system integration, including integration with eCommerce, ERP, CMS, and other platforms. - Strong knowledge of data modeling, taxonomy design, and workflow optimization within the PIM ecosystem. - Experience with API integration and data transformation tools for connecting PIM systems with external platforms. - Deep understanding of data governance, data quality standards, and product data management best practices. - Proficiency in cloud technologies, scalability, and performance optimization for PIM systems. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Experience in managing PIM system performance, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth system operation at scale. - Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira and Confluence. Stay updated with emerging PIM trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the long-term effectiveness of the system.,
