Job Description

Key responsibilities Order fulfillment: Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, which may be communicated via paper forms or electronic devices. Packing and shipping: Securely packing selected items into boxes or cartons, labeling them correctly, and preparing them for dispatch. Quality control: Inspecting products for any damage or defects before packing to ensure they are in good condition. Inventory management: Keeping inventory records up to date by scanning items, counting stock levels, and restocking shelves. Equipment operation: Operating equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or other machinery to move products around the warehouse. Workplace maintenance: Keeping the work area clean, safe, and organized. Required skills and qualifications Physical stamina: The ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (often up to 40-50 lbs) for extended periods. Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in picking the correct items, quantities, and in checking for damage. Teamwork and communication: Working effectively with other team members and supervisors. Time management: The ability to fulfill orders efficiently within a timely manner. Basic computer skills: Familiarity with using scanners, computers, and inventory software. Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is often preferred
