Date 6 Jun 2025 Location: Mumbai, MH, IN Company Alstom Req ID:480743 Job Title (Job Code) PI Field Modification Operator (IN-PI-07) PURPOSE OF THE JOB Implement modifications on products in order to align the built as designed. Support Troubleshooter if necessary Organization structure (job belongs to..) Product Introduction Management of Site, Country, Cluster, Region or Platform Reports directly to PI Customer Site Manager Other reporting to none Direct reports none Network & Links Internal Customer Site PI team PI Support team Project team Installation and Test & Commissioning team (if applicable) Internal Supplier representatives (Components/PU) Maintenance/Service team (if Alstom) Global System representatives (if applicable) External Customer site team Customer maintenance team (if not Alstom) External Supplier representative Key accountabilities Implement field modifications according to the modification instruction (including tests, if required) Ensure use of valid/calibrated tools Populate relevant modification follow-up data base and report relevant information to Field Modification Coordinator-Leader & PI Customer Site Manager Ensure information flow within the field modification team (e.g. shift handover) Perform quality self-inspection Respect EHS rules and any work-related processes. Ensure risk assessment & safe-system -of-work is available. Report any deviation or non-conformity associated with the field modification Ensure all necessary parts, tools & documents are available prior to starting the field modification Performance measurements Respect of timeframe for modification implementation Customer acceptance and quality level of implemented modification Compliance with EHS rules and work-related processes Achievement of contractual availability (milestone) targets Completeness and Quality of FM implementation data recorded in data base Availability of configuration update data Audit results (internal and external) MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES Educational y Mandatory Certified Technician or Undergraduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics) Minimum IT knowledge Internal EHS training Desirable Graduate in technical area (mechanical or electrical/electronics) English Experience Mandatory Technical operational experience (mechanical or electrical / electronic) Field Experience Teamwork capacity EHS knowledge and exposure Product knowledge Desirable Railway Safety/Product liability Engineering knowledge Customer contact You dont need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
