Job Overview:

Lakhotia College of Design is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Photography Faculty with strong leadership and mentoring abilities to lead our Photography Department. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of photography concepts, creative direction, studio and outdoor lighting, post-production techniques, and industry trends, while inspiring students to pursue excellence in visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Photography Department and ensure academic excellence and innovation in curriculum delivery.
• Teach and mentor students in Photography, Videography, Lighting, Composition, and Post-production.
• Supervise student projects, portfolios, and exhibitions.
• Design and update course content to meet current industry standards and technological advancements.
• Organize guest lectures, workshops, and industry visits for practical exposure.
• Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary projects and creative productions.
• Guide junior faculty members and assist in departmental growth and planning.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback for skill enhancement.
• Represent the department in academic meetings, events, and institutional activities.
• Promote the college’s vision of creativity, professionalism, and innovation in photography education.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Leadership and team management skills
• Strong technical expertise in DSLR/Mirrorless photography, lighting setups, and studio management
• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and other editing tools
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to inspire creativity and professional discipline in students
• Up-to-date knowledge of trends in commercial, fashion, product, and documentary photography

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or related field
• Proven track record in teaching or professional photography practice
• Portfolio showcasing academic or professional works

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
