Job Description

Responsible for managing hospital pharmacy operations including medicine dispensing, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision. Ensures patient safety through accurate drug handling and counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily pharmacy operations and prescription validation.
Manage stock, procurement, expiry control, and vendor coordination.
Ensure compliance with NABH/Drug Control guidelines and maintain records.
Supervise, train, and schedule pharmacy staff.
Provide patient counseling on medication use and side effects.
Monitor billing, control wastage, and support audits.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of drugs, dosage, and interactions.
Inventory & pharmacy software management.
Team leadership and decision-making.
Communication & patient counseling skills.
Compliance and documentation expertise.
