Currently, the hospital features 550 inpatient beds, including 130 intensive care beds, and is supported by highly skilled medical professionals, including 150 consultants, 500 panel doctors, and 1,400 paramedical staff. Ruby Hall Clinic is recognized for its pioneering contributions to healthcare in Pune, such as introducing Intensive Care and Coronary Care Units, performing the city's first kidney transplant, and achieving advances in imaging technologies like Positron Emission Tomography. The hospital is also dedicated to social responsibility, providing free treatments and conducting healthcare camps for underprivileged communities. As a public charitable trust under the Grant Medical Foundation, the clinic prioritizes accessible, high-quality medical care for all.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pharmacist at Grant Medical Foundation, Ruby Hall Clinic, located in Pune. The responsibilities include accurately dispensing medications, providing information and advice about prescribed drugs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and managing inventory of pharmaceutical supplies. The Pharmacist will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to review prescriptions, educate patients on safe medication usage, and maintain detailed records of pharmaceutical transactions. The role will involve a strong focus on patient safety, regulatory adherence, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Pharmacology, pharmacological standards, and drug interactions
Experience in prescription interpretation, medication preparation, and dispensing
Understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management and supply chain processes
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
Experience in providing patient education on proper medication usage and safety
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with healthcare teams
Registered pharmacist license in accordance with local regulatory requirements
Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
Prior experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred
