Role Overview

The PGT Mathematics teacher will teach Mathematics to classes XI–XII, ensuring conceptual clarity, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent board exam readiness. The role requires expertise in advanced mathematical concepts and effective classroom instruction.

Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning

• Teach Mathematics to senior secondary classes (XI–XII) as per curriculum guidelines.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and structured learning material.
• Deliver complex topics—Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, and Statistics—in an easy and engaging manner.
• Use digital tools, smart boards, and activity-based learning techniques.
• Provide additional academic support for board exams and competitive exams (if required).

Assessment & Evaluation

• Design formative and summative assessments.
• Prepare question papers, worksheets, assignments, and practice tests.
• Evaluate answer sheets and maintain accurate academic records.
• Identify student learning gaps and conduct remedial/support classes.

Classroom Management

• Establish a disciplined, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Foster logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving among students.

Academic & Administrative Duties

• Maintain subject files, lesson plans, and all academic documentation.
• Participate in PTMs and update parents on student performance.
• Contribute to math clubs, competitions, olympiads, and school events.
• Attend training sessions and professional development workshops.

Qualifications & Requirements

• M.Sc. (Mathematics / Applied Mathematics) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Teaching experience of 4-7 years in senior secondary classes preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts.
• Proficiency with digital teaching tools (smart board, online platforms).
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and presentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
