PGT Maths Teacher

A PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Maths job involves teaching advanced math (XI-XII), developing engaging lesson plans for complex topics (Calculus, Algebra), fostering problem-solving skills, and preparing students for board/competitive exams like JEE, using tech tools, and managing assessments, records, and parent communication for holistic student growth. Key duties include lesson planning, assessment design, performance tracking, creating a positive classroom, and guiding students in STEM/competitive pathways. Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Curriculum: Deliver advanced math (XI-XII), create lesson plans, use smart boards/digital tools, simplify complex topics, cover syllabus timely.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Design tests/assignments, grade papers, provide feedback, identify learning gaps, conduct remedial classes.
• Student Development: Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, logical reasoning; provide academic counseling for exams (JEE, Board).
• Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain records (attendance, progress), attend parent-teacher meetings, communicate with parents, participate in school activities.
• Collaboration: Work with colleagues on curriculum, attend training, and support school events.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Master's degree in Mathematics + B.Ed. (or equivalent).
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of advanced math, curriculum (CBSE/ISC).
• Skills: Excellent communication, classroom management, use of educational tech, organizational skills, positive attitude, analytical skills.

• Board Exam Prep: Strong focus on CBSE/ISC board exams.
• Competitive Exams: Support for JEE, CUET, Olympiads, STEM pathways.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,349.40 - ₹40,182.74 per month

Work Location: In person
