Job Title: PGT English Teacher (Part-Time)

Job Summary:

The PGT English Teacher (Part-Time) will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons for senior secondary students (Grades VIII–XII) in alignment with the prescribed curriculum. The teacher should demonstrate strong command over the subject, effective classroom management, and the ability to foster students’ interest and excellence in English language and literature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons in English Literature and Language as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and evaluation tools to ensure effective learning outcomes.
• Conduct assessments, evaluate students’ performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Encourage creative and critical thinking through interactive and discussion-based learning.
• Prepare students for board examinations through regular practice, revisions, and mock assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, academic performance, and behavioral observations.
• Participate in departmental meetings, staff development sessions, and school events as required.
• Support students with remedial sessions and guidance for improvement.
• Uphold school values and maintain discipline, decorum, and ethical teaching practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s Degree in English from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (CBSE preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with technology-based teaching (smartboards, online tools, etc.).

Remuneration:

• Commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
