Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Supervise daily fuel dispensing operations and ensure smooth functioning of the petrol pump.
  • Monitor sales of petrol, diesel, lubricants, CNG (if applicable), and other allied products.
  • Oversee shop/restaurant/QSR or value-added services (if present).
  • Ensure pumps, meters, and equipment are regularly calibrated and maintained.

2. Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise pump attendants, cashiers, cleaners, and security staff.
  • Prepare duty rosters and ensure discipline, punctuality, and performance.
  • Motivate staff to achieve sales targets and maintain service quality.

3. Financial Management

  • Maintain daily cash collections, billing, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor credit sales, vendor payments, and bank deposits.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports for management.
  • Control expenses to improve profitability.

4. Inventory & Stock Control

  • Track stock levels of fuel, lubricants, and other consumables.
  • Coordinate with oil companies for fuel delivery and check dip readings.
  • Prevent fuel theft, pilferage, and wastage.

5. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct regular fire drills and check fire-fighting equipment.
  • Maintain all required licenses, certificates, and government compliances.

6. Customer Service & Growth

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Implement promotional schemes and upsell lubricants/ancillary items.
  • Build relationships with fleet operators, corporate accounts, and regular customers.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Graduate in Business/Commerce/Management or equivalent (preferred).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail / operations / fuel industry.
  • Strong leadership, people management, and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of accounting, stock management, and MS Office/ERP.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle large cash transactions.

  • Sales growth (fuel & non-fuel).
  • Stock & cash reconciliation accuracy.
  • Zero compliance/safety violations.
  • Staff performance & retention.
  • Customer satisfaction levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,614.02 - ₹25,000.00 per month
