We are looking for a skilled Performance Engineer D&C with 5 to 9 years of experience in Drilling and Completion operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in petroleum engineering and excellent analytical skills.

Roles and Responsibility

Carry out reservoir modeling and simulation to optimize production data.
Collect and analyze corehole data to prepare inputs for the simulator.
Prepare and run simulations, analyzing results as production data charts.
Perform production history matching and collect CBM production data.
Conduct short-term and long-term production forecasts and techno-economic analysis.
Identify components of capital and operating costs and perform single-well and field-scale economic analysis.
Plan and conduct well testing operations at well sites and analyze results.
Collaborate with the testing team on injection and fall-off tests using PanSystem software.
Utilize FracPro software for hydraulic design, psot frac analysis, and determining frac-halflength and width.
Coordinate with geologists, drilling, and production teams for coal seam information and production data, guiding the team and communicating with senior management.
Monitor well operations, track service-related downtime, including non-productive time (NPT), and analyze NPT events to derive insights and document lessons learned with detailed operational records.
Participate in rig calls, well planning meetings, well reviews, and lessons learned sessions.
Evaluate safety and operations performance scorecards for service partners and conduct performance review meetings to support continuous improvement.
Maintain and update the performance database by uploading relevant data and documents into the BIF system and upload QA/QC documents of service partners to the Support Portal.
Collect operational data and prepare reports for the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH).
Capture and track lessons learned, ensuring timely closure of associated action items and provide technical input to the Well Program based on performance data and analysis.
Identify and promote new technologies, initiatives, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and provide on-site support to the well operations team as needed.
Analyze well time break and NPT, prepare scorecards, capture and track lessons learned through portals, conduct technical sessions, and hold performance meetings with COP.

Job Requirements

A graduate degree in Engineering is required, along with approximately 5 years of experience in Drilling and Completion operations.
Possess good understanding of Deep-Water Drilling and completion operations, and real-time operations interpretation.
Proficient in graphics/database software like Excel, Spot-fire, Tableau, etc.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
Knowledge of well testing principles and practices, CBM parameters, and reservoir simulation techniques is essential.
Computer skills, analytical skills, and a good mathematical background are necessary.
Experience in rig operations, well planning, and engineering is required.
Minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in Drilling Operations.
Minimum of 6 to 9 years of experience in Completions Engineering.
Skills & Competencies: Knowledge of well testing principles and practices. Knowledge of CBM parameters. Reservoir simulation techniques. Computer skills. Analytical skills. Good background in mathematics. Software proficiency. Simulator usage.
