Full-Time, 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (with potential to extend based on performance)

Director of Commercial (with dotted line to Director - Client Strategy & Insights)

The Opportunity

We're hiring a Performance Coach to support our India team not in a generic HR or L&D capacity, but as a direct partner to the leadership team to help drive commercial outcomes.Think part coach, part operator, part fixer. This role is about behaviour change with impact getting people unstuck, helping teams work smarter, and making sure everyone understands how their work drives revenue, margin, and client success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Coach individuals and teams across our India operations (Client Services, Compliance, Operations) to improve delivery, pace, and focus
  • Run direct, honest, high-impact coaching conversations that improve accountability and remove performance blockers
  • Work with managers to improve leadership behaviours and team effectiveness
  • Help translate commercial goals into team-level daily actions and decisions
  • Identify patterns that are slowing down delivery or affecting margin, and intervene early
  • Create a weekly rhythm of performance: check-ins, reviews, and priority resets
  • Provide regular insights to senior leadership on behavioural gaps, wins, and areas for coaching focus
  • Play a key role in making India a true centre of excellence for Interpolitan

What You Bring?

  • Proven experience as a performance coach or team optimiser ideally in financial services, fintech, or operations-heavy environments
  • Commercial mindset you think in revenue, impact, cost, speed
  • Strong emotional intelligence able to challenge constructively and build trust fast
  • Clear communicator no buzzwords, no fluff. You say what needs to be said
  • Ability to work independently across functions, with senior leaders and frontline teams alike
  • Based in India, with strong cultural awareness and familiarity with cross-regional collaboration

  • Improved internal feedback and NPS/CSAT in areas owned by India team
