PCB Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled PCB Design Engineer to join our hardware development team. You will be responsible for creating high-quality PCB layouts for consumer electronics, IoT devices, industrial controllers, and advanced embedded systems. This role requires deep knowledge of PCB design tools, layout standards, and close collaboration with the electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schematic Entry & Circuit Design in collaboration with hardware engineers.
• PCB Layout Design using industry-standard tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or equivalent).
• Handle multi-layer PCB designs, including impedance control, differential pair routing, and high-speed signal integrity considerations.
• Perform component placement, routing, and optimization for size, cost, and manufacturability.
• Generate Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication documentation for manufacturing partners.
• Support prototype testing, bring-up, and hardware debugging.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers for enclosure and PCB integration.
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC guidelines, PCB design standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of PCB design experience (consumer electronics, IoT, or industrial devices preferred).
• Proficiency in Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or equivalent PCB CAD tools.
• Familiarity with hardware bring-up, testing tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Ability to read datasheets, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

• Experience in Bluetooth/WiFi IoT hardware design.
• Knowledge of power electronics, LED drivers, or battery management circuits.
• Hands-on experience with 3D PCB modeling and mechanical integration (Fusion 360/SolidWorks).
• Experience in hardware product development from prototype to mass production.

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
