Job Description We are hiring an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Payroll to join our HR team at the Head Office. The role involves managing payroll for office staff, ensuring statutory compliance, and handling attendance and leave management processes efficiently. Roles and Responsibilities Handle monthly payroll processing for office staff with accuracy and timeliness. Ensure timely submission of attendance and payroll inputs each month. Manage leave records, missed punches, and attendance regularisation processes. Prepare and maintain payroll MIS reports , including salary sheets, variance reports, and related data. Ensure adherence to applicable statutory compliance and labour laws (e.g., PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus, LWF, etc.). Coordinate with internal teams to maintain accurate and updated employee data . Assist in ensuring a smooth and compliant payroll operation across the organization. Desired Candidate Profile 5 to 9 years of experience in payroll and HR compliance, preferably from the construction or manufacturing sector . Strong working knowledge of statutory compliance and labour laws . Hands-on experience with attendance and leave management systems . Proficient in Excel and payroll/HRMS software. Good communication and coordination skills. Qualification - MBA / PGDM - HR / IR
