We are looking for Senior Consultants with strong technical and functional expertise in Dayforce Payroll implementation to join the People Consulting team. Your key responsibilities
- Leverage experience in payroll domain to deliver HR and Payroll transformation projects for global clients, in collaboration with other GDS teams and other EY member firms
- Analyse and evaluate existing payroll systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Configure and customize Dayforce Payroll software to align with business requirements.
- Develop and implement payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct system testing, identify issues, and recommend appropriate solutions or enhancements.
- Provide end-user training and support during implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related issues, investigating root causes and implementing preventive measures.
- Stay updated with Dayforce payroll functionality, new releases, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Dayforce Payroll with other modules (HR, Finance, Time Management).
- Participate in payroll-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations.
- Drive effective client communication and build strong relationships with stakeholders across global locations.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 6 - 9 years of experience in Payroll operations and consulting domain, with minimum 4-5 years in Dayforce Payroll.
- B.Tech/masters degree in finance/HR or full time MBA
- Experience in delivering payroll implementation and transformation programs, as part of a global distributed team
- Hands-on experience in Payroll configuration, compliance, and integrations within Dayforce.
- Strong knowledge of global payroll processes and statutory requirements.
Ideally, you'll also have
- Exposure to global payroll systems and integration with Dayforce.
- Working knowledge of HRIS integrations and integrations with Dayforce.
- Actively involved in end-to-end Payroll implementation and transformation programs
- Deep expertise in Dayforce Payroll configuration, including earnings, deductions, tax setup, and compliance rules.
- Ability to design and document configuration guides, SOPs, and test scripts.
- Strong knowledge of data migration, validation, and UAT processes for payroll systems.
- Working knowledge of HRIS integrations and integrations with Dayforce.
