Job Title: Patient Services Coordinator / Hospital Admissions Coordinator Job Summary: The Patient Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the complete patient journey within the hospital setting, including admission, stay, and discharge processes. Acting as the central liaison among patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, this role ensures seamless coordination, efficient care delivery, and a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee the patient admission, transfer, and discharge processes. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and their families throughout the hospitalization period. Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical teams to facilitate timely care and services. Ensure all patient information is accurately documented and updated in hospital systems. Address patient and family inquiries, concerns, and feedback, promoting high levels of satisfaction. Monitor patient flow and work closely with medical staff to avoid delays in care or discharge. Support administrative functions including scheduling, documentation, and coordination with insurance or billing departments when needed. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient privacy standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in initiatives to improve service delivery and patient experience. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field (preferred). Previous experience in hospital operations, patient services, or healthcare coordination. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with hospital management systems and basic administrative software.
