Core Responsibilities & Administrative Skills

These skills relate to governance, policy, and oversight:

• Policy Definition and Implementation:

  Ability to define and document procedures for Patch Release as per Client’s policy.

• Vulnerability Assessment (VA) Management:

  Expertise in regularly reviewing VA reports and preparing comprehensive plans for testing and remediation.

• SLA-Driven Remediation:

  Skill in testing, validating, and remediating VAs as per defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Change Management Governance:

  Ensuring strict adherence to the proper change management process for vulnerability remediation.

• Progress Tracking and Reporting:

  Monitoring and tracking the progress of vulnerability remediation efforts using weekly/monthly trackers.

• Dashboard Development:

  Skill in developing and interpreting dashboards to provide clear insights and ensure they are user-friendly

Technical Skills (Tools & Platforms)

Proficiency in the following technologies is essential for administrative and oversight functions:

• Patch Management Tools:

  Expertise with SCCM , WSUS.

• Automation:

  Experience with Ansible.

• Linux/Cloud Patching:

  Proficiency with RedHat Satellite and RCPAzure Update Manager.

• Operating System Administration:

  Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems (Administration activities).

Certifications (Secondary)

While secondary, these certifications demonstrate a broader understanding of secure, compliant infrastructure:

• Cloud Fundamentals:

  Secondary certifications in AWS or Azure Fundamental.

• Cloud Practitioner/Architecture:

  Secondary certifications in AWS or Azure Practitioner or Solution Architect.

• Administration:

  Secondary Admin Certifications.
