Role: R&D Chef – Cakes & Desserts (NPD Focus)

What You’ll Do:

• Lead new product development (NPD) across cakes, desserts, and confections
• Innovate and experiment with flavor profiles, textures, and formats based on trend insights
• Work closely with the founders and to take ideas from concept to scale
• Standardize recipes with cost, portion, and production efficiency in mind
• Run kitchen trials, shelf-life testing, and document recipes with precision
• Help build Creme Castle’s innovation calendar and seasonal drop pipeline

Who We’re Looking For:

• 4–8 years of experience in pastry/dessert production and product development
• Deep understanding of baking science, ingredient functionality, and food safety
• Creative thinker with a structured approach to trials, testing, and documentation
• Experience working in central kitchens or R&D setups preferred
• Bonus if you’ve worked on retail/dine-in dessert menus or shelf-stable SKUs
