Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pastry Chef located in Chennai. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing baked goods and pastries, crafting and executing creative recipes, and ensuring high-quality food presentation. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations, and contributing to the creation of a delightful and welcoming atmosphere in the café.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Bakery and Baking techniques, including the preparation of cakes, pastries, and similar items
• Proficiency in Food Preparation and Culinary Skills, with a focus on high-quality ingredient handling
• Experience in Cooking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity in developing new pastry recipes
• Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with the café team
• Relevant certifications in culinary arts or related fields are preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role within a café or bakery setting is advantageous
