Paediatric physiotherapist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will assess, plan, and implement physiotherapy interventions for infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and genetic conditions. The therapist will work closely with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to support each child’s functional independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess motor development, posture, muscle tone, strength, balance, and mobility in children

• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on child’s needs

• Provide therapy for conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, autism, Down syndrome, and musculoskeletal disorders

• Use evidence-based techniques including neurodevelopmental therapy, strengthening, stretching, and functional training

• Educate parents and caregivers on home exercise programs and positioning

• Maintain accurate assessment reports, progress notes, and discharge summaries

• Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech therapists, special educators, and pediatricians

• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and parent counseling sessions

• Ensure child safety, hygiene, and ethical practice at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (BPT / MPT – Paediatrics preferred)

• Registration with relevant Physiotherapy Council

• Experience in paediatric physiotherapy (freshers with internship experience may apply)
