Position: Packing Line Supervisor

Experience Required: 1–2 Years

Department: Production / Packing

Reporting To: Production Manager / Factory Supervisor

Job Summary

The Packing Line Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day packing line operations, ensuring timely packing of finished goods, maintaining quality standards, managing manpower, and achieving production targets safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities on the packing line
• Ensure proper packing, labeling, and sealing of finished products
• Allocate manpower and manage line balancing
• Monitor daily packing targets and productivity
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and packing specifications
• Identify and resolve line issues, delays, or manpower gaps
• Maintain packing records, reports, and shift-wise data
• Ensure discipline, safety, and cleanliness on the shop floor
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Stores departments
• Train new workers on packing procedures and SOPs
• Reduce packing rejections, damages, and rework

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as Packing Line Supervisor / Line Leader
• Experience in manufacturing or production environment
• Basic knowledge of packing materials and methods
• Ability to manage shop-floor manpower
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Basic documentation and reporting knowledge
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure

Educational Qualification

• Minimum Diploma (preferred)

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of 5S / safety practices is an added advantage
• Leadership and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to work extended hours if required

Preferred Industry

• Electronics / Manufacturing / Assembly / FMCG (Packing Operations)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
