Packing Supervisor

1. Packaging Operations

• Inspect every box after forming to ensure compliance with Nuevosol's SOPs, work instructions, and limit samples.
• Check the cleanliness and readiness of export containers before loading.
• Ensure the correct quantity per box as per product-specific packing specifications.
• Ensure that only quality-cleared and approved materials are taken for packing.
• Ensure all components are dust-free, fingerprint-free, and visually clean before packing.
• Pack components strictly as per client standards (domestic & export requirements).
• Conduct random checks on components staged for packing.
• Measure and record the weight of every packed box in line with export norms.
• Coordinate with Quality and Packaging Manager for random inspections and final approvals.
• Take picture of packed boxes before sealing for traceability and customer records.
• Stamp PO number and manufacturing date on all boxes after closing.
• Apply traceability labels correctly as per project requirements.
• Ensure all fastener covers used are transparent and as per standard

2. Pallet & Container Management

• Ensure wooden pallets meet defined quality standards and required dimensions for export.
• Confirm pallets are sealed and strapped properly for safe transit.
• Supervise placement of silica gel, correct placement of components, and proper tightening of metal frames.
• Verify packing slip details such as container number, date, project name/number, quantities, net & gross weight.
• Oversee container loading strictly as per the approved packing list and customer standards.

3. MIS & Data Management Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate, real-time records of packaging data including daily output, rejections, inspection logs, packing material usage, and dispatch details.
• Prepare & update Excel-based MIS reports such as:
1. Daily packing status
2. Box weight logs
3. Material consumption report
4. Dispatch tracking report
• Use Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, Data Validation, etc.) to prepare actionable data for management.
• Ensure proper filing of packing lists, inspection reports, container loading photos, and traceability documents.
• Share periodic reports with Quality, Stores, Logistics, and Project Teams.
• Support internal/external audits by providing relevant documentation.

4. Accountabilities at Nuevosol

• Minimizing customer complaints related to packing quality and dispatch condition.
• Ensuring 100% accuracy of quantity and weight per box.
• Maintaining correct markings, traceability, and documentation for each packing batch.
• Ensuring smooth coordination between Packaging, Quality, Stores, and Dispatch teams.

5. Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering
• 2 to 5 years of experience in packaging within a manufacturing/export organization.
• Strong knowledge of packaging standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas, and reporting.
• Experience with documentation, packing lists, and dispatch records.
• Ability to manage teams and work under strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-first approach.
