Packing supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of packing line staff during all shifts.
• Plan daily workflow and assign tasks to meet production schedules.
• Monitor packing processes to ensure accuracy, speed, and adherence to specifications.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure products are packed according to quality standards, customer requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections of packed goods to verify labeling, packaging integrity, and cleanliness.
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.

Team Management

• Train, coach, and mentor packing staff on procedures, equipment use, and best practices.
• Monitor employee performance; provide feedback and participate in performance evaluations.
• Manage staffing levels, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and shift coverage.

Equipment & Materials

• Oversee the proper use of packing equipment and report any maintenance issues.
• Manage packaging materials inventory; ensure adequate supplies and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot equipment or workflow issues.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain logs, reports, and records of daily production, packaging errors, and labor efficiency.
• Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
