Packing Supervisor

Job Summary: The Packing Supervisor is responsible for supervising all packing operations, including maintaining packing records, overseeing loading and dispatch activities, and managing the furniture cushion department. The role also includes monitoring product quality, managing a team of more than nine members, and ensuring the timely availability of packing materials. The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and capable of leading a team to achieve high-quality and efficient output. Key Responsibilities:Packing & Dispatch Operations:Supervise and coordinate daily packing activities to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient packing of goods. Plan and monitor product loading and dispatch schedules to meet delivery deadlines. Ensure all packed goods meet company standards and customer specifications. Record Keeping:Maintain detailed records of daily packing activities, material usage, and dispatch logs. Prepare and submit packing and dispatch reports to management on a regular basis. Furniture Cushion Department:Oversee production, packing, and handling of furniture cushions. Ensure smooth coordination between production and packing teams for timely completion of orders. Quality Control:Conduct random quality checks to ensure packed products meet required standards. Report and assist in resolving any quality-related issues. Team Management:Supervise, train, and guide a team of more than 9 packing staff. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety guidelines. Maintain discipline and promote teamwork among packing staff. Material Management:Monitor stock levels of packing materials (cartons, tapes, labels, etc.). Raise requisitions and coordinate with the purchasing department to order materials when stock is low or depleted. Ensure efficient use of materials to minimize waste and cost. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to improve packing efficiency, reduce damage, and enhance workflow. Support management in implementing process improvements and training programs.
