A Packaging Technologist Client Servicing role sits at the crossroads of technical expertise and client relationship management. This role typically involves acting as a liaison between clients and the packaging development or technical team, ensuring that packaging solutions meet client requirements while staying within technical and budgetary constraints. Here's a detailed job responsibility/description for the role:

Expectation from you: You will begin as an individual contributor, working in a team of go-getters to help spread the Baxsa’s way.

You would be showcasing the unique features of Baxsa’s to Clients in personalized sessions, and will be responsible for consulting and sales in your designated zone.

Responsibilities:

1. Client Interaction and Requirement Gathering:

- Engage with clients to understand their packaging needs, preferences, and objectives.

- Translate client requirements into technical specifications for the development team.

2. Project Management:

- Oversee the entire packaging development process, ensuring timely delivery of projects.

- Coordinate between the client and the internal team to ensure smooth progress.

3. Technical Consultation:

- Provide clients with innovative packaging solutions and alternatives based on the latest industry trends and technologies.

- Educate clients on the technicalities of different packaging materials, processes, and technologies.

4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

- Ensure all packaging solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and client specifications.

- Collaborate with the quality team to address any concerns or deviations.

5. Budgeting and Costing:

- Provide clients with cost estimates and quotations for various packaging solutions.

- Ensure projects stay within budget and communicate any changes or challenges to clients proactively.

6. Feedback and Continuous Improvement:

- Gather feedback from clients on the performance and quality of delivered packaging solutions.

- Work with the technical team to continuously improve and innovate based on client feedback and market demands.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain comprehensive records of all client interactions, projects, and outcomes.

- Provide clients with regular updates and reports on project progress and milestones.

8. Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, quality control, and logistics to ensure the delivery of optimal packaging solutions.

• Stay updated on the latest packaging trends, innovations, and technologies.
• Attend industry events, seminars, and workshops to enhance knowledge and network with industry professionals.
• Assist in the onboarding of new clients by providing them with information on the company's packaging capabilities and solutions.
• Participate in internal training sessions and workshops.
• Share knowledge and insights with colleagues to enhance team capabilities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

- Degree in Packaging Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Familiarity with packaging materials, processes, and machinery.
